Profile

Senior Lecturer at the Social Policy Lab at Dastu, Polytechnic of Milan. Previously, she worked as lecturer at the Department of Sociology of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and as research fellow at the Department of Sociology and Social Research of University of Milan-Bicocca. She obtained her PhD in 2014 at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan with a thesis entitled “Population ageing and social organisation of work: public policies, managerial practices and individual paths. A comparative analysis”. She has experience in teaching social research methods, economic sociology and sociology of ageing. Her main research interests include ageing population, in particular older adults’ inclusion and active participation in various spheres of the social life, age inequalities and ageism. Lately, she has studied issues of technology and ageing and surveillance capitalism.
