A study on the local implementation of the national minimum income scheme in Northern Italy<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The project aims to comparatively study the implementation of national minimum income (NMI) measures in five regions of Northern Italy: Piedmont, Lombardy, Autonomous Province of Trento, Veneto and Emilia-Romagna.<\/p>\n<p>The research follows three main lines of investigation:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Providing a detailed account of the territorial contexts where the implementation of NMI is underway.<\/li>\n<li>Analyzing the implementation of NMI within the framework of specific local welfare systems.<\/li>\n<li>Identifying and explaining the key dynamics related to NMI implementation in a selected number of local contexts.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>After a preliminary review of the existing literature and various available sources, at least three local cases will be selected in each region for an in-depth study. This will be conducted through a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods, as well as participatory research involving key stakeholders, social workers, and beneficiaries.<\/p>\n<p>The project seeks to foster scientific debate on minimum income schemes in Italy, adopting a specific analytical perspective focused on the implementation process.
