\u2709\ufe0f emmanuel.matsaganis@polimi.it<\/a><\/p>\n Full professor of Public Finance. He previously worked as assistant\/associate professor at the Athens University of Economics and Business, as lecturer at the University of Crete, as special adviser at the Greek Prime Minister\u2019s Office, and as researcher at the London School of Economics. He was a member of the Expert Group on Social Investment for Growth and Cohesion, working with European Commissioner L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Andor. He has been Fulbright Scholar at Harvard University and University of California Berkeley, Visiting Scholar at Boston University, and Visiting Professor at University of Vienna. He is Head of the Greek & European Economy Programme at the Hellenic Foundation for European & Foreign Policy in Athens, and Research Associate of the Hellenic Observatory Centre at London School of Economics. His Oxford University Press book \u201cWho\u2019s afraid of the welfare state now?\u201d (co-authored by Anton Hemerijck) came out in 2024.<\/p>\n
