Assistant Professor in Urban Sociology, earned her Ph.D. in 2012 from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan. Her research focuses on housing, educational inequalities, and school and residential segregation. She has held visiting scholar positions at Rutgers University (NY) and the Autònoma University of Barcelona at the GEPS Research Centre.
She has contributed to several high-profile projects, including a Horizon 2020 initiative on territorial inequalities and social cohesion (COHSMO), as well as an Erasmus+ project addressing school segregation (ECASS). She is the principal investigator of the PRIN project “Unravelling School Segregation: Causes and Effects Towards an Italian Urban Model” and is also involved in the Cariplo Project “EDIN—Understanding the School Effect”.
Her book, “Scuole e Territori: La Segregazione Scolastica a Milano”, co-authored with Andrea Parma, was published by Il Mulino.
