Social Infrastructure and Territorialization of Social Rights: A Research Agenda in Metropolitan Barcelona
On 18 November 2026, from 9:30 to 11:00, the MA in Urban Planning at Politecnico di Milano will host a guest lecture by Ismael Blanco, Professor at the Institut de Govern i Polítiques Públiques, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
Entitled “Social Infrastructure and Territorialization of Social Rights: A Research Agenda in Metropolitan Barcelona”, the lecture will explore the relationship between social infrastructure and the territorial dimension of social rights, focusing on the metropolitan context of Barcelona.
Anna Moro and Gabriele Pasqui (DAStU) will act as discussants.
The seminar is part of the course Sociology of the City, taught by Prof. Costanzo Ranci, and is organized in collaboration with CRAFT. The event is open to all and can also be followed online.
