The session is organized by Lara Maestripieri and Margarita León and builds on some of the hints emerged from the research conducted within the VINE project developped by Lara Maestripieri. It is part of the panel on family, care, and childhood. The aim is to collect papers that explore inequality in access to early childhood education and care, with specific attention to presentations that explore the role of local policies.
