Care Poverty in Ageing Society. A quali/quanti study on Italy
The project investigates the condition of care poverty among older adults with different socio-economic backgrounds in Italy. CARA aims, on the one hand, to identify the predicting factors of unmet care needs, and, on the other hand, to understand the lived experience dimension of this condition. A group of researchers from LPS and the National Institute of Health and Science on Ageing – Centre for Socio-Economic Research on Ageing will be engaged in:
-A secondary analysis of care poverty risks in long-term care regimes.
-A study of the public and policy debate on unmet care needs
-A survey on eldercare arrangement and socio-economic inequalities
-An ethnography of experiences and strategies of living with unmet care needs.
